Project experience

Selected work from real automation projects

From postal shipping processes and JTL extensions to AI-assisted travel planning: these sample projects show how we analyse grown processes, connect existing systems and reduce manual work through reliable automation.

The following sample projects are based on real implementations. For confidentiality reasons, individual customers and project details are anonymised.

Selected work

No demo scenarios. Real process problems.

Our project experience comes from operational environments where automation has to deliver measurable value: less support effort, less manual work, fewer errors, faster workflows and better integration between existing systems.

Many of these projects took place in grown IT landscapes with ERP, webshop, carriers, internal tools, specialist systems and manual hand-overs. That is exactly where Automation Boutique shines: we don't replace existing systems unnecessarily — we connect them into working end-to-end processes.

NDA note: most projects are covered by non-disclosure agreements. We only name customers when this is explicitly approved.

Patterns

What these projects have in common

The examples differ in domain but follow the same pattern: existing systems are not replaced unnecessarily — they are sensibly connected. Manual steps are analysed, standardised and automated. Where rules are enough, we use deterministic workflows. Where AI delivers real value, it is embedded into the process under control.

Connect existing systems

ERP, webshop, carriers, internal tools and specialist systems are integrated through interfaces and workflows.

Reduce support effort

Recurring enquiries, status information, documents and customer communication are prepared or triggered automatically.

Avoid operational errors

Address errors, missing information, manual hand-overs and unclear states are reduced through structured processes.

Automate step by step

Many projects start with one clearly scoped process and grow into a larger automation landscape over time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these real projects?

Yes. The examples are based on real implementations. Because many projects are confidential, individual customers and details are presented in an anonymised form.

Why are no customer names mentioned?

Many automation projects touch internal processes, operational workflows or business-critical systems. For confidentiality reasons, we only name customers when this is explicitly approved.

Are these solutions standard products?

No. The examples show individual automations, extensions and integrations. Our approach is project-based: we analyse the specific process and build a fitting solution.

Can similar automations work in other industries?

Yes. Many patterns repeat across industries: manual hand-overs, missing interfaces, status issues, document processes, support effort and fragmented system landscapes.

How do we start a similar project?

Typically with an intro call, followed by a Process Review. We look at the process, the systems involved, possible automation steps and a realistic implementation plan.
