Process Review

Start with a Process Review

Before automating, it has to be clear where the biggest lever is. Our Process Review shows which processes are actually worth it, which systems must connect, and which first step makes sense.

Who it's for

Who the Process Review suits

01

Businesses with manual workflows

When many tasks run via email, spreadsheets, phone or manual system hops.
02

IT and operations teams

When existing systems work but aren't well connected to each other.
03

Organisations with complex procedures

When application, approval and backoffice processes connect multiple systems, roles and decisions.
04

Partners and integrators

When a project needs additional engineering depth for workflow, integration or automation.

Deliverables

What you get

A structured outcome you can immediately use to decide the next step.

  • Process map of the selected workflows
  • Overview of systems, data sources and media breaks
  • Identification of automation opportunities
  • Assessment by value, effort, risk and feasibility
  • Proposal for MVP, pilot or project roadmap
  • Recommendation: deterministic automation, AI support or hybrid
  • High-level technical architecture proposal
  • Next steps for delivery and operations

How it runs

How the Process Review works

  1. 1

    Intro call

We clarify the goal, scope and processes in question.

  2. 2

    Process discovery

We talk to the business, IT and operational users.

  3. 3

    Analysis

We identify manual work, wait times, error sources and integration gaps.

  4. 4

    Target picture

We sketch the future automated flow.

  5. 5

    Roadmap

You get a prioritised recommendation for the next step.

Outcome

Clarity instead of tool hype

After the Process Review you know whether a workflow system, a custom integration, an AI agent, a simple automation step or a larger transformation is the right fit. The aim isn't maximum complexity — it's the most effective solution for your concrete problem.

FAQ

Frequently asked

What does end-to-end automation mean?

End-to-end automation means a process isn't just digitised in one place but works across all steps, systems and roles — from incoming case to handling, decision, response and documentation.

Do you only work with Camunda and Pega?

No. Automation Boutique is vendor-neutral. Camunda and Pega can fit well for workflow, case-management and complex case-handling scenarios. The choice always depends on process, IT landscape and economics.

Do you replace existing systems?

Not by default. It's often more sensible to integrate existing systems and automate the manual handovers between them than to start a full system replacement.

Is Automation Boutique an AI agency?

No. We're an engineering boutique for process automation. AI is a tool we use where it brings real value — for classification, data extraction, support or decision support.

Can you work with legacy systems?

Yes. Grown, fragmented IT landscapes are a typical starting point for us. We analyse interfaces, data flows and process breaks and build pragmatic integration solutions.

How does a project start?

Usually with an intro call, followed by a Process Review. There we analyse the process, assess automation potential and propose a realistic next step.
